AOSSM and AANA welcome the Biologic Association (BA) 2nd Annual Summit to Nashville this July. The BA Summit agenda features renowned faculty delivering state-of-the-art presentations focused on innovative approaches and new orthobiologic ideas, products and applications. Summit participants include all multilevel and multidisciplinary stakeholders comprising a diverse group of scientists, clinicians, regulators, corporate, private equity and venture capitalists.
You may register for only the Biologic Association Summit or add onto your AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting registration and attend both!
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Contrast the different types of platelet rich plasma (PRP), including leukocyte-rich and leukocyte-poor PRP, with respect to clinical indication and efficacy.
- Compare biologic agents and their indication(s) for treatment of pathologies of tendon, cartilage, ligament, and bone, including subchondral bone lesions.
- Describe potential complications associated with the use of biologics for musculoskeletal pathologies and ways in which to avoid them.
