When and where is the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting?
The meeting takes place July 7 – 11, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee at the Music City Center (201 Fifth Avenue South).
When will the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting Registration and Housing open?
Registration and Housing will open on March 1.
Exhibitor registration will open in mid-March.
At this point in time, we do not anticipate limiting or restricting attendance. However, we will follow the federal, state and local guidelines for pandemic safety protocols in effect at the time of the event. Should these protocols limit or restrict attendance, priority will be given to those already registered.
What are the details about registration, including pricing and deadlines?
Pricing for the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting varies depending on the date of registration and category. Pricing information can be found here.
- Early-bird registration rates are available until April 30, 2021.
- Standard registration rates begin May 1, 2021.
What is included with my registration?
Each registration fee includes all group continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, receptions, registration materials and general and concurrent educational sessions. Instructional Courses and Thursday, Friday and Saturday carry an additional fee.
May I register for just one day of the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting?
Yes. The conference offers a single day registration option, which provides access to all educational sessions and the exhibit hall on the registered day.
May I register for the Sports Health Symposium only or Biologic Association Summit only?
Yes, the Sports Health Symposium (Thurs.) or Biologic Association Summit (Wed.) have specific ONLY package options which can be found on the registration page.
If later you prefer to attend both the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting and the Sports Health Symposium and/or Biologic Association Summit, you can log back into your registration through the Resource Center and select the addition.
Does the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting registration include Instructional Courses?
No. There is an additional fee for all Instructional Courses, which can be added on during online registration.
Do you offer a waitlist option for any sold-out sessions or events?
Yes. To maintain a safe environment, meeting room capacities are limited due to social distancing guidelines and some activities may be currently full. As the situation with COVID-19 evolves, these requirements may be adjusted. If you are interested in attending a session or event which is listed as “sold out” and you would like to be placed on our waitlist, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with the name of the session(s) you wish to attend.
How many CME or other credits are available for Instructional Courses?
Each Instructional Course is worth 1.5 credit hours. Questions about specific Instructional Courses can be directed to Julie Ducey at email@example.com or 847.655.8627.
How can I add events to my registration?
I registered but have not received a confirmation. How do I get another one sent to me?
How will I receive my badge once registered?
You may pick up your badge at the Music City Center during posted registration hours. A government issued photo I.D. is required. It is recommended (but not required) that you bring your email confirmation along with you to expedite the badge printing process. Event Badges will not be mailed in advance.
Must you be registered for the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting before you can reserve your hotel accommodations at the official designated AOSSM-AANA hotels?
No. Hotel rooms can be booked at the AOSSM-AANA discounted rate before registering for the meeting. We encourage booking in advance as hotel rooms fill up fast. You can safely book your hotel room here.
ConferenceDirect is the only official hotel partner endorsed by the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting. If you are contacted by other third-party companies offering hotel booking assistance or discounted rates, please be aware they are most likely a scam and AOSSM or AANA cannot guarantee your hotel reservations upon arrival.
How do I become an AOSSM or AANA member to receive the member rate?
You must first apply for an AOSSM or AANA membership(s). Linked below are the specific membership webpages. Each page includes instructions on next steps and requirements for membership. After your membership is approved, you can register at the member rate.
I need a letter to obtain a Visa. Whom do I contact?
Requesting a letter of invitation may be done during the online registration process.
Is there a registration category for spouses, families and personal guests?
Yes. Guests will need to be added to your registration. During the online process, select the “Guest” functionality prior to checking out. Guests will be allowed access to the opening reception, family party, presidential guest speaker and general sessions. Additional tickets can be added to your registration for the Welcome Reception and Family Event if they are attending with you. Any guests under 21 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
You can add guests and/or guest tickets for events at any time after completing your registration by returning to the Resource Center.
Is there an age limit at the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting or events?
There is no age limit; however, those under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
What are the Exhibit Hall hours*?
The exhibit hall will be open:
- Thursday, July 8 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.*
- Friday, July 9 from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.*
- Saturday, July 10 from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.*

What is the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting cancellation policy?
If a registrant cancels their registration for the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting, the following goes into effect:
Registrations, less a $150 processing fee, are refundable only if a cancellation notice is submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org on or before Monday, June 7, 2021. All refunds will be issued back to the original payment type. Registration fees for cancellations received after Monday, June 7 are not refundable.
Please note: Registration cancellations will not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Any changes to your hotel reservation will need to be made directly through the AOSSM-AANA official designated hotels here.
Hotel Changes and Cancellations
Accommodation reservations may be cancelled, or arrival and departure dates may be changed up until three working days prior to arrival. After this date, the reservation is subject to a one-night room and tax deposit that is non-refundable. Changes can be made directly through the AOSSM-AANA official designated hotels here.
Please note: Cancelling your hotel reservation does not automatically cancel your meeting registration. To cancel your meeting registration, please submit your request to email@example.com.
What happens in the event the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting is cancelled or rescheduled by AOSSM and AANA?
AOSSM and AANA reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting or any related programs.
Should the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting be cancelled, your registration fees will be refunded in full. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting, AOSSM and AANA have the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same meeting at the new, future date. AOSSM and AANA will not be responsible for reimbursement of any participant’s travel expenses related to the cancellation or postponement of an event. Attendees are encouraged to purchase personal travel insurance.
Refer to the above “Hotel Changes and Cancellations” section for guidance regarding cancelling or modifying accommodation reservations. Reminder, any accommodation changes can be made directly through the AOSSM-AANA official designated hotels here.
What happens if the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting will only be held virtually?
If it becomes necessary to transition to a virtual format, Annual Meeting registrations will be automatically converted online and any difference in rates will be automatically refunded.
How are safety and health concerns for the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting being addressed?
Your safety is our top priority. As we prepare for the Annual Meeting, we will be working closely with all our partners and Music City Center to create a safe and healthy environment for all based on recommendations from the CDC and the state of Tennessee during the time of our meeting.
